Updates On The Runaways and The Birth Of A New Tale

As the title says, I've been working on The Runaways. (that's not it's real name, but I've got nothing better as of now, so for now we're going to be giving it that name)  But to be honest, it's barely even the same book.  I dare to say it's become something else COMPLETELY.  I've changed how all of the character's look, their past, the plot, EVERYTHING.  The only thing that might still be the same is a few of the character's names.
Anyways, I don't have any bits of The Runaways to give you, but I do have two poems to explain, of course, two of the characters.  There are three main characters in this book, Grace (the main character), Morgen (second main character), and Hunter (third main character).  I only have poems of Grace and Morgen as of now, but I will make another update once I have made one for Hunter.  Here is Grace's poem:

The Girl of Fear

They gasp for air when they glimpse her hair
They scream when her emerald eyes find them
They are scared of the unknown
Scared of what looks them in the eye
They hide from her presence
They run from her touch
They are scared of the bold
Scared of the night
They break when they feel her
They watch her when she runs
They do not understand free kindness
They are shocked of her swiftness
What is one to do with these reactions?
What should one do when left alone with the dark?
Whatever they want to do
When one is feared, they can do many things

Her character has changed a lot, but I really like her.  The normal text in the poem is Grace speaking, so when she says " her " she's talking about herself.  The italic is meant to be part of Grace's mind, I think.
It doesn't explain a lot of what she looks like in the poem, but she has black hair with pale skin and, like the poem says, emerald eyes.  As for her age, she's around 14.  Her personality has changed a lot.  She went from wearing a mask to saying everything that is on her mind.  She's the kind of girl who doesn't think everything through, but is very open about how she feels (or so she appears).  In her mind, she doesn't believe in holding back because no one ever held back on her.
And now here is Morgen's poem:

Demon and Human

"Demon or human..."  She muttered under her breath
Tearing the rose apart till one petal was left
Though deaf to the pain running through her fingers
She held onto the flower covered with thorns
And let the blood linger
"Pulling out the evil in me," she said
"Like green horns of the devil."
As she felt the words "Human" written on the last petal
She could hear the girl's dying breath
And tears mixed with the blood
As she heard the words "I expected nothing less."
"Blood and tears," she cried
As the ends of her white hair soaked in it
"There is no better color for me than blood and tears."

As you can tell, Morgen is a very depressing person.  This poem is meant to reveal her past a bit.
She has short, light blond hair, so that it nearly looks white, her skin a bit less pale then Grace's, and blue eyes.  She would be 15 around the beginning of The Runaways.  She is normally very bright and a little bit girly, but when she takes off that mask she's very depressed, confused, and a bit mentally disturbed.  I wanted to get the point across in the poem that she hates herself very much, to the point she in numb to the pain of thorns stabbing into her fingers, letting herself bleed.
She has a very long story, so I am planning on writing her a short story of her own, showing her life up until she meets Grace.  I don't have a name for it yet, however, so for now I am going to call it Morgen's Tale.
That's all I have for now, I shall post another update on both of these books soon.
